Highs of 21 degrees as thousands line the streets for Birmingham International Marathon
There will be highs of 21 degrees celsius later on today as thousands of people lace up their trainers for the Birmingham International Marathon.
Around 9,000 people have registered for the event, with a further 12,000 people set to take part in the half marathon.
And for mid-October, the weather isn't bad at all. The MET Office has forecast another fine and dry day, with sunny spells breaking through the cloud.
