Knitted poppies to say thank you to the Fallen
A team of knitters have created 5000 poppies out of wool to create a special display for Remembrance Sunday.
For weeks the team have been meeting to turn out the woollen flowers - some plain, some with glitter and added decoration.
It was the idea of Mansfield District Council, who wanted a display in the town's market place.
They'll be tied to netting and there for all to see during this year's Remembrance Parade.
People can sponsor a poppy for a pound which will go to the Royal British Legion.
A symbol of respect for those willing to sacrifice all in the service of their country.
