This afternoon: Showers in the west will gradually develop and spread eastwards, with thickening cloud at times. Far eastern areas such as Lincolnshire perhaps seeing the best of the dry and bright conditions. Light winds.

Tonight:Thickening cloud will bring some more general rain across most parts, with temperatures rising. Hill fog developing later over Derbyshire as cloud lowers, perhaps affecting the Lincolnshire Wolds by dawn.

Sunday:Grey start with occasional light rain and drizzle, and gusty southerly winds. Feeling rather mild. Chance of brighter spells before heavier rain arrives during the afternoon with winds strengthening further.
