BREAKING: Man arrested following death of elderly woman

Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in Fleckney have arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

The man was arrested in the Fleckney area and is currently being held in police custody where he will be interviewed this afternoon.

Police say they wish to thank the public for their help in the investigation to date and urge anyone who may have information about the death who has yet to come forward to do so.
