Man dies after serious assault

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died following a serious assault in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Police have arrested seven people, who remain in police custody, after the incident on Pen Street.

Detective Chief Inspector Diane Coulson, from the Major Crime Unit, EMSOU, said;

The victim was taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston but was pronounced dead on Sunday morning (24 September).
