Nottingham Trent named Modern University of the Year

Nottingham Trent has been named as the Modern University of the Year by The Times and the Sunday Times in the Good University Guide 2018.

The award recognises the University's high student satisfaction and experience rating, as well as quality of teaching and engagement with employers.

The University also climbed to joint 47th in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide’s overall league table, which was published today.

30,000 students currently study at Nottingham Trent University which has also been shortlisted for the 'University of the Year' award in forthcoming Times Higher Education Awards.

Meanwhile, Loughborough University has also ascended up the Good University Guide league table, with a ranking of 7th out of 131 UK universities - its highest ever position.

Loughborough University is now in the top 10 of every national university league table.
