Birmingham bin collections: Two week clearance schedule
Birmingham City Council has published it schedule for clearing the backlog of uncollected bins, following the suspension of the bin strike.
From Monday 25th September, the frequency of bin collections will go from four-weekly, to two-weekly.
Crews will also be working until 10pm every day, so the council want you to keep your bins out till late on the day they are due to be collected, and not to report a missed collection until the day after it was due.
They also ask not to put out your bin until after 3.30pm on the day before your scheduled collection day.
The plan for scheduled collections on 22nd September is shown here.

Birmingham City Council also ask to still separate waste - household rubbish in the grey lid bin and recycling in the blue lid bin.
They add to continue to leave garden waste out on its normal collection day.
The council also says bins, bags beside bins, and paper may not be collected at the same time, because different crews are picking up differing types of waste. But they should all be done within the days outlined above.
