Country's oldest playground rocking horse returns home
One of the country's oldest playground rocking horses has been restored and returned to it's home in Northamptonshire after being found dumped in a ditch in Kent.
The ride is thought to be around 70 years old, and was one of the original inventions of Charles Wicksteed, the founder of Wicksteed park in Northamptonshire.
The ride was sold on ebay and later bought by a relative of Mr Wicksteed, who has had it restored to its former glory, and returned to its rightful home at Wicksteed Park.
