200,000 watched the Tour of Britain in Nottinghamshire
An estimated 200,000 took to the roads to see Tour of Britain cyclists race past them in what is thought to have been the biggest crowd yet.
Stage four of the event took place across Nottinghamshire, with the race starting in Mansfield and ending in Newark-on-Trent.
TV commentators said the county boasted the 'biggest crowds of the tour so far!'
Nottinghamshire County Council leader, Councillor Kay Cutts MBE, said:
Stage five of the event took place today (7 September) on the Essex coast, starting and ending on Clacton-on-Sea.
