East Midlands Weather: Gradually becoming brighter

Tonight:Becoming cloudy and staying mild, with an isolated showers dying away. Rain could arrive, although mainly across the Peak District late tonight, where it potentially may become locally heavy.

Tuesday:Outbreaks of rain will soon spread southeastwards across the region, perhaps sometimes heavy. Drier and brighter conditions will arrive from the northwest late afternoon, along with a few showers.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:Breezy with sunny spells and isolated showers on Wednesday and Thursday, although rain may arrive Thursday evening. Friday breezy with rain clearing, and sunshine and showers following. Feeling cooler.
