Ian Bell steps down as Warwickshire captain
Warwickshire County Cricket Club has confirmed that Ian Bell has decided to step down as club captain, so that he can focus on his batting.
He is to be replaced by former England batsman Jonathan Trott, who will skipper the side in the five remaining Specsavers County Championship matches in 2017.
Grant Elliott will lead the Birmingham Bears in the NatWest T20 Blast when they take on Surrey in their quarter-final at The Oval on Friday

Bell was named Club Captain ahead of the 2016 season and went on to lead the Bears to the Royal London One-Day Cup in September last year.
