Low levels of crime in first 24 hours of V Festival, police say
Police have arrested 13 people for offences including drug dealing and theft in the first day of V Festival.
The annual event held at Weston Park in Staffordshire has so far seen officers arrest festival-goers, with ages ranging from 16-26, for possession of drugs including MDMA, ecstasy, cannabis, cocaine and ketamine.
Aside from drug-related offences, other arrests have been made for offences such as breach of bail conditions and theft.
