Spaghetti Junction closures to be lifted over the weekend

Highways England will be temporarily lifting some restrictions around Spaghetti Junction this weekend.

Drivers travelling to Birmingham will be able to join and leave the M6 at junction 6.

Major roadworks are taking place at Spaghetti Junction over the summer, which has resulted in speed restrictions and diversions.

Highways England has been able to lift some of the planned closures because of the good weather and additional concrete repairs that were completed last weekend.

However, some restrictions and lane closures will resume on Bank Holiday weekend, as the repair scheme enters its final stages.
