The Coventry City manager says he's disappointed with the departure of George Thomas.

The 20-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Leicester City.

The attacker, who can play as both a striker and a midfielder, scored the decisive goal in Coventry's EFL Trophy victory at Wembley last season.

Thomas, who was born in Leicester, scored nine goals in 36 appearances for the Sky Blues in the last campaign.

He is also a Wales youth international, having represented them at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-20 level.
