Killer remains at large after 20 years

Police are continuing their search for the killer of a mum-of-two who was knifed to death on her own doorstep in Birmingham in 1997.

Fourty six year old widow Linda Chandler, was stabbed in the chest and back before collapsing in a neighbours arms in Fairbourne Avenue in Kingstanding twenty years ago.

It's one of over 300 unsolved murder cases currently on record by West Midlands police since the 1940s.
