The husband of a woman who fell to her death from a balcony has said he wants to get to the truth of how she died.

The men, Ricky Gammon, Anthony Holehouse, Callum Northridge, Daniel Bailey and Joseph Graham deny they had anything to do with Kirsty's death.

However, her husband said questions still needed to be answered.

In a statement one of the men, Callum Northridge said,

A timeline of events leading up to and after Kirsty Maxwell's death

April 27, 2017: Kirsty travelled to the popular tourist destination Benidorm with a large group of friends for a hen party weekend.

It is believed that up to 30 women made the trip from Scotland.

April 29: Kirsty went to bed after a night of heavy drinking at around 4am on the Saturday morning. Her apartment was located on the ninth floor. She got back up shortly after, got dressed and left her apartment barefooted. A short while later she ended up in a hotel room directly above the room she was staying in one floor up. That room belonged to five men from Nottingham- Ricky Gammon, Anthony Holehouse, Callum Northridge, Daniel Bailey and Joseph Graham. Later that morning Kirsty fell ten floors from the room's balcony.

May 1: 32-year-old Joseph was arrested over the death. He told police that Kirsty was acting "mad, drunk or drugged" when she entered the room and said he asked her to leave the room as she was "acting strangely".He claimed after she was asked to leave, Kirsty headed towards the bathroom before disappearing towards the balcony. Her family and friends accepted the she would have been heavily intoxicated by alcohol but disputed any drug claims.

May 4: Kirsty's husband Adam Maxwell spoke about the incident for the first time, four days after she fell. He rejected claims of drug abuse or suicide and stating he believed "something dark" had occurred in the hotel room that led to her death, and she was happy and healthy and "had everything to live for", adding it was "crazy to suggest she had killed herself".

May 9: The Spanish lawyer representing the Maxwell family, Luis Miguel Zumaquero, demanded all five men involved in the incident be placed under formal investigation by Scottish authorities in order for them to return to Spain for questioning.

He also said he did not believe she was pushed from the balcony and it was his opinion she was fleeing from someone or something from within the room.

June 1: The five men were placed under investigation by a Spanish judge.By this stage the only man arrested, Joseph Graham, was understood to have returned to the UK. Authorities in Spain never charged Graham but he remained under investigation. Police were believed to be investigating claims Kirsty had been trying to flee the room she entered when she ultimately fell to her death.

Mr Zumaquero confirmed the Maxwell family also welcomed the decision to place the men under investigation.

July 4: Kirsty's family travelled to Benidorm to look for answers and found out the Spanish judge who placed the men from the room under investigation had requested for them to return to Spain for questioning.

The family tried to gather more information around the resort over the course of a few days and started to trace a photographer who took a photo of Kirsty's dead body after the fall. The picture was circulated in Spanish media the day after her death.

July 13: Results of a toxicology report show Kirsty was heavily intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 2.79g per litre, putting her five times over the drink-drive limit in Spain and the UK but there were no illegal drugs in her system.

July 25: Four of the men, Callum Northridge, Daniel Bailey, Ricky Gammon, and Anthony Holehouse travelled from the UK to Benidorm to be quizzed over the death in a court appearance. Joseph Graham, who was questioned initially after Kirsty's death, did not have to go back to Spain.

July 26: The men of arrived to the private hearing, three of which had their face covered. The Maxwell family lawyer has said that they believe Kirsty was the victim of an "accidental killing".
