Dog run over by robbers on motorbike
Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog was run over by robbers on a motorbike.
A22-year-old man was walking his grandmother’s dog when he was punched in the head by two men on motorbikes.
He was knocked to the floor with a single punch, before being straddled and hit repeatedly in the face.
The man let go of the Yorkshire terrier's lead as he fell.
The dog was run over by the second robber, who was circling on his motorbike. The animal suffered a leg injury.
The pair stole two 18ct gold bangles and a wallet from the man before riding off.
The attack happened in an alleyway off Northdown Road in Radford, Nottinghamshire at 8.45pm on 24 July.
