Nervous dog found abandoned outside vets

The nervous Corgi was found outside the vets late into the evening

A young dog was found found abandoned for a number of hours before being found by a member of the public.

The male Corgi was left outside the Fivelands Vets, on Church Road in Yardley at around10.50pm on Friday 7 July.

Shortly before finding the dog, the member of the public saw two white Citroen vans hanging around the area.

The dog is now happy and safe with the local dog warden.

Inspector Marston later added: “The RSPCA is called out to collect thousands of dumped dogs every year

“We understand that circumstances can change which can mean people may no longer be in a position to look after their pet but if something like this happens, we would urge pet owners to act responsibly.
