Residents flee as men with axe and 'Scream' mask smash into house

Police have released images of the moment masked intruders smashed their way into a home in Gedling, as the residents fled in fear.

Those inside the property fled as the intruders climbed over the fence into the back garden and smashed a window at the back of the house.

Nothing was taken in the break-in which happened off Arnold Lane at around 12.40pm on Thursday 8 June 2017.

One of the men was carrying an axe while another man wore a 'Scream' style mask during the raid.

Police are asking for anyone with information that could help identify the men to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 327 of 8 June 2017.
