Replacement medals are given to blind D-Day veteran Alfred Barlow
A blind D-Day veteran has received replacement medals after his original ones went missing at a motorway service station.
Alfred Barlow's story went viral last month when he made an appeal on ITV News for his Second World War medals to be returned.
The 96-year-old lost them almost a month ago at Norton Canes Services on the M6 Toll near Walsall. He was returning home from a pilgrimage to Normandy at the time.
