Racing driver who lost both legs in horror crash gets back behind wheel of racing car

A teenage British racing driver who lost both of his legs following a horror crash at Donington Park has got back behind the wheel of a racing car.

18-year-old Billy Monger was racing in the Formula 4 Championship in April when he was involved in a high-speed collision with a stationary car.

Despite medics' best efforts, the teenager lost both of his lower legs. He was treated at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

His story touched motor sport fans across the world over who have raised £825,000 in his name.

Formula 1 world champions Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button were amongst those who gave their backing to Billy who is known as 'Billy Whizz'.
