BREAKING NEWS: Riders left upside down at Drayton Manor after ride malfunction
Riders at Drayton Manor theme park were left stranded upside down high in the air when the G-Force rollercoaster appeared to break down earlier today.
Visitors took to social media to post videos of the incident in the late afternoon.
Drayton Manor issued a short statement following the news:
When it opened in 2005 Drayton Manor describe the ride as a rollercoaster to ''take passengers through high-banked twists and turns at speeds of up to 45mph and at heights of more than 65ft.''
Earlier this year the death of school girl Evha Jannath at the park shocked the nation.
The 11-year-old from Leicester died whilst on a school trip during an accident on the Splash Canyon ride in May.
