Additional £5,000 reward offered for lost veteran medals

Crime stoppers have offered a reward of £5000 for the recovery of medals lost by a D-Day veteran on his way back from a memorial service in Normandy.

Alfred Barlow's medals were lost or stolen when he stopped at the Norton Canes Services on the M6 Toll road.

Replacements are being made to be presented to Mr Barlow in a ceremony next week. Credit: ITV News.

The service station and famous names including Hugh Grant have also offered reward money to help recover the medals.
