Flags flying at half-mast as a mark of respect following London attack
Flags are once again flying at half-mast on Nottinghamshire County Council buildings as a sign of solidarity following the London attack.
Councillors and employees will pause to join the rest of the country in a national one-minute silence tomorrow (Tuesday 6 June) at 11am.
Members of the public will also be able to leave their personal messages when Books of Condolence are opened at County Council offices across Nottinghamshire from 9am on Wednesday 24 May.
Councillor Kay Cutts, Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council has written to Sadiq Kahn, Mayor of London:
Nottinghamshire’s Books of Condolence will be open until 26 June. After this date, the sheets from each location will be collated into one document and sent to the Mayor of London.
