Teenage boy suffers 'life-changing injuries' from live electricity cable

Police have confirmed a 13-year-old boy involved in a live electricity cable incident has suffered life-changing injuries.

He is in a stable condition following the incident yesterday, which happened on parkland next to Durham Road in Wednesbury. A railway line runs down the other side of the park.

Four teenage boys had been playing next to the railway line and the two injured boys were taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
