Broadmarsh bus station closure could cause traffic problems
For half a century Nottingham's Broadmarsh Car Park and Bus station has been a major city landmark.
But after 50 years the car park and bus station is finally being flattened.
The impact on traffic in and around the area is expected to be significant while construction work takes place.
The work is expected to take six months to complete, with the new car park and bus station in place by the end of 2019.
The work to demolish the car park and bus station is part of a £250 million pound plan to redevelop the whole of the Broadmarsh Shopping area.
A new car park and bus station, with shop, cafes, pedestrianised areas and potentially even flats.
It's been called a concrete monstrosity and even a blot on the architectural landscape but how do people feel now that it's finally going?
