Elderly woman in critical condition after lorry crash

An elderly woman is in a critical condition in hospital after reports of a lorry hitting a pedestrian on Kings Heath high street.

It happened at around 10:50am on Saturday (27 May). The road was closed for several hours while emergency services were at the scene.

The driver is assisting officers with their enquiries.
