Organisers of Birmingham Pride say they are pleased with how this weekend has gone.

Security was stepped up for the LGBT festival, with armed police seen patrolling the event.

Tens of thousands of people turned up despite what happened in Manchester on Monday.

A minute's silence was held yesterday (Saturday 27 May) for the victims of the attack.
