East Midlands Weather: Becoming dry and clear

ITV Central Weather Credit: ITV Central

This Evening and Tonight:Dry this evening with a few sunny spells. Cloud will mostly melt away overnight to leave long clear periods, which combined with very light winds will allow temperatures to fall close to freezing in some rural areas.

Wednesday:Dry, warmer, with large amounts of sunshine and only patchy cloud, after a chilly start. However, sea breezes will develop to keep the Lincolnshire coast cooler than inland areas.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:Thursday chilly start then sunny spells, but increasing chance of showers or outbreaks of rain arriving. Bright spells and showers for Friday and Saturday, occasionally heavy, perhaps thundery. Warmer generally.
