Drug dealer ordered to pay back £75,000
A jailed drug dealer has been ordered to pay back more than £75,000.
Ashton Swanwick, from St Ann's, Nottinghamshire, was sentenced to four years in prison last year after admitting conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Police retained £27,005 as part of the undercover drugs operation at the time, but Swanwick can now be actively pursued for the remainder of the £75,492.
Swanwick was one of 15 men who were jailed after a Class A drugs gang based out of St Ann's was exposed by detectives.
His honour Judge Sampson QC made the order under the Proceeds of Crime Act at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday (3 May 2017), which Swanwick contested.
