West Midlands Mayoral candidates put through their paces on business

Next week, if you live in the Black Country, Birmingham, Solihull or Coventry, you get the chance to decide who should become the first ever West Midlands Mayor. It's a huge job, with new powers and new money to spend. So we thought we'd put some of the six candidates through their paces, to help you make your decision.

For that, we have our very own ITV News Central Battle Bus. Our Political Correspondent Alison Mackenzie has taken the would-be mayors from the five big national parties on a road trip to meet local people. And for once, it's not us asking the questions, it's you - the voters. Here's how she got on.

And Alison's road trip continues all this week. Onboard that bus were the candidates from the five parties with the most consistent support across the West Midlands in recent years. There is a sixth candidate - Graham Stevenson from the Communist Party - and here are some of his views on business and the economy.
