EastEnders star runs London Marathon in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Service
EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt is running the London Marathon to raise money for the Air Ambulance Service which operates across the Midlands.
The actor who is well known for playing the character Ian Beale will be joined by his son Sam, who was put into an induced coma last year following a road traffic accident.
The charity operates the local air ambulances for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, as well as the national Children's Air Ambulance.
On his fundraising page, Adam says they decided to enter the marathon last September.
They came up with the idea of Sam running and Adam walking the 26 mile route to show the difference in transfer times between an ambulance and an air ambulance.
