Tributes pour in for man who died in bridge fall

A man who died after falling from a bridge on the Aston Expressway in Birmingham has been named as Declan Sullivan.

The 20-year-old suffered fatal injuries in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The incident saw the A38 Aston Expressway closed northbound between Park Circus and Dartmouth Circus from 4.50am.

Tributes have flooded in for the 'talented local footballer' described by the club he played for as a ‘community champion.’

Lincoln Moses, manager of Continental Star FC said:

Declan, who had trials with Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion, also helped run a community project called The Big Fish, which worked with young people, and would attend trips to Germany with Continental Star.
