71-year-old woman assaulted in Derby
Derbyshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a 71-year-old woman was assaulted in Chaddesden.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm on Saturday March 18 when the victim was walking her dog in Chaddesden Park, Derby.
She was in an area of the park near to Maine Drive when her dog crossed the path of a cyclist. It is alleged that he then got off his bike, started shouting abuse at the her and then punched her to the stomach.
The cyclist is described as white, in his late 20s / early 30s and was believed to be wearing a black, shiny padded jacket and riding a red and black bike.
Officers are urging witnesses to come forward.
