Chase and Status to kick start V Festival in Staffordshire

Thousands are expected to flock to the stage to see drum ‘n’ bass duo, Chase and Status at this year's V Festival in Staffordshire.

The music event takes place this August in Weston Park with the sister event happening in Essex over the same weekend.

Global stars acts Jay Z and Pink have already be announced as headline acts performing on the main stage.

Chase and Status will be heading to the festival fresh from their summer touring the globe.

Grammy nominated Duke Dumont will also step up to the decks and rounding off the night South London trio Disciples.

These artists as well as a number of well known Radio 1 DJ's are expected to kick start the weekend for festival goers.
