Birmingham City Council to get new interim chief executive
A new chief executive has been appointed at Birmingham City Council.
Stella Manzie has been called in as Interim Chief Executive to take over from acting chief executive Angela Probert. The previous boss, Mark Rogers, stepped down in February.
Ms Manzie has previously been chief executive of Coventry City Council and Barking and Dagenham Council.
Her appointment is expected to be confirmed at a meeting of the full city council on April 4 and was recommended by a cross-party elected members’ appointments panel.
