Police have raided a second flat in Birmingham in connection to yesterday's terrorist attacks in London.

Four people died and dozens more were injured when a 4x4 ran over pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before a knifeman attacked police and members of the public near the Houses of Parliament.

Officers raided a flat in Hagley Road, Ladywood, around 11pm last night. Three arrests are understood to have been made at the address over the terror attacks.

A second raid was carried out on a flat across the city in Winson Green.

Eyewitnesses said officers arrived shortly after 1am this morning. It is not yet clear how many, if any arrests were made.

A transit van parked at the property this morning, along with other vehicles thought to be police. One neighbour said:

A number of the officers went into the property, including one holding a set of ladders. All the officers were wearing blue gloves.
