Man who stabbed teenage drug dealer jailed for 24 years
A man who stabbed a teenage drug dealer as the victim worked for Birmingham gang leaders has been jailed for 24 years.
Steven Sharpe stabbed Camran Green from Wednesbury in October last year as the 17-year-old dealt crack cocaine and heroin in Cheltenham.
The 31-year-old from Cheltenham, admitted murder at Bristol Crown Court as his trial was due to begin.
He was jailed for a minimum of 24-and-a-half years.
Detective Chief Inspector Ruth Mather, of Gloucestershire Police, said Camran was based at Sharpe’s girlfriend’s house dealing crack cocaine and heroin for Birmingham gang leaders.
