Julie Walters honoured with lifetime achievement award

Smethwick born actress Julie Walters has been honoured with a lifetime achievement award by the Royal Television Society.

The star picked up the honour at a ceremony last night.

The actress, who has appeared in the Harry Potter films, Mamma Mia and Billy Elliot to name just a few, has most recently appeared alongside Robbie Coltrane in a recent show about a public figure who's accused of sexually assaulting someone.
