BMW to resume pension talks with staff in Birmingham

Talks aimed at resolving a dispute over pensions at BMW will resume today.

Staff are continuing to vote on whether to take industrial action over changes which many claim will leave them financially worse off after retirement.

Members of the Unite union which includes workers from the Longbridge plant in Birmingham and Hams Hall are being balloted on whether to protest over plans to close their final salary pension scheme.
