Murder victim found stabbed in car named

45-year-old Timothy Smith was originally from Oxfordshire but lived in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

He was found critically injured in a silver Ford Focus car on an industrial estate off Gelders Hall Road in Shepshed, Leicestershire on Thursday evening.

He died at the scene. A post mortem examination confirmed that he had been stabbed.

The man and woman, both aged 53, who were arrested in the earlier hours today have this afternoon been released from police custody.

A 20-year-old man, and a 17-year-old male, both from Shepshed, remain in custody where they are being interviewed by detectives.
