Ashby death incident: woman in stable condition in hospital

A woman found with serious injuries at a house in Ashby remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

Police attended a house in Holland Crescent at around 3.20pm yesterday and the woman taken to Walsgrave hospital in Coventry by air ambulance.

A post mortem examination will be carried out today on the body of the man who was also found in the house in order to determine the cause of his death.
