Police name Allenton murder victim

Police have named a man found dead in Allenton last week.

Officers were called to Allen Street just before 6pm on Thursday, March 2 following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Liam Penncik who was 31 was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his serious injuries.

James Eames who is 41, of the same street, has been charged with murder.
