Grantham A&E campaigners call for more money for NHS in this week's budget
Campaigners fighting to save Grantham A&E from closure are calling for more money to be announced for the NHS in this budget.
They travelled to London at the weekend, joining thousands of others from across the UK, to take part in a national rally in support of the national health service.
The A and E unit at Grantham Hospital has been closed overnight since August last year due to staff shortages. It was meant to reopen after three months.
Campaigners now have more than 50,000 names on a petition to save the A and E service in the town which they will hand into Downing Street over the next few weeks
Another March is also planned in Leeds on April 1 which they say they will be attending.
