Burton Albion to receive award for work in the community
Burton Albion football club have won an award for screening men on match days for prostate cancer.
Their work has picked up symptoms in eleven men and saved one 72 year old's life - but the initiative has also earned the club the prestigious title of Midlands Community Club of the year.
They regularly hold events like this coffee and quiz mornings to bring the community together.
Representatives from the club will be at a parliamentary reception at the House of Commons later on today to receive an award to make the achievement.
