Two arrested and bailed following Hereford V Didcot game
Two men have been arrested and bailed following trouble in the closing minutes of Hereford's match against Didcot yesterday.
The club were playing away to Didcot Town when police say a number of people ran onto the pitch and the game had to be abandoned in the 86th minute.
The men who were arrested and bailed were both 19-years-old. One of them was detained on suspicion of common assault and the other on suspicion of a public order offence.
Hereford FC said it does not condone unlawful behaviour of any sort and club officials will be working with Didcot, the police and the stewards to try to establish what happened.
