Woman convicted of theft after keeping £20 she found in shop
A woman has been convicted of theft after failing to return a £20 note she found in a shop in Blurton in Stoke-on-Trent.
The woman failed to hand over the cash which she had found and officers were alerted after the man who lost his money got in touch.
The incident was reported to police on 8th August last year after a man withdrew money from a cashpoint before entering a shop and losing the money which was then picked up by Nicole Bailey.
