1. Who do you most admire?My late parents, they were hard working people who always set a good example,

2. Where's your favourite place in Stoke-on-Trent and why?Penkhull, a village within a city in every sense, I have lived there for the past thirty four years.

3. What will be your top priority if you win the by-election?Fighting to protect local NHS services from further cuts, particularly mental health services.

4. What is your favourite TV programme?I don’t really watch television, though if I do its usually the BBC News Channel.

5. What is your favourite song? This fluctuates on a weekly basis and could be anything from Bach to Miles Davis.
