Two Police officers charged with number of offences
Two West Midlands Police officers have been charged with drug offences, and conspiracy to steal as well as misconduct in a public office.
The constables, who are based at Perry Barr, were immediately suspended from duty following their charge.
Six other people arrested in early morning raids across the West Midlands area on Tuesday morning have also been charged and all eight were remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham magistrates today.
The charges are as follows:
