All aboard the Birmingham love train

Fifty couples renewed their wedding vows at Birmingham New Street Station yesterday in a romantic mass ceremony.They reaffirmed their love for each other in a Valentine’s Day special event.

Bashira Wahab didn’t tell her husband Abdul they were going to the ceremony when they left their Hall Green home.

The couple had an arranged marriage and had hardly met before they wed 22 years ago, Bashira, 46, said:

Nicki Woodall, from Bournville, managed to get another wedding dress out of her husband Roger for the event.
